In an era dominated by digital workflows and AI, true smile design remains a human art. Software can simulate and suggest—but it cannot see, feel, judge, or create esthetics. This program is a deep dive into the skills, perception, and artistic intelligence that technology cannot replace.
Rooted in Christians journey from analog ceramist to digital smile design pioneer, this comprehensive specialization focuses on what truly makes the difference: esthetic diagnosis, artistic execution, and clinical decision-making. You will learn how to evaluate and modify smile designs, translate patient desires into executable plans, and adapt designs to orthodontic, surgical, implant, and restorative realities—from single units to full-arch rehabilitations.
Through focused theory and hands-on exercises, you will train your eyes to see esthetics, your hands to execute it, and your mind to connect art with science. The program activates your artistic side through free-hand drawing, smile design exercises, and real-case challenges—developing both artistry and dexterity.
This specialization addresses the most common smile design frustrations: knowing something is wrong but not knowing what, receiving “good but not great” lab work, and lacking the tools to communicate or execute improvements.
